First launch

During the first launch, it is possible to select personal settings and set master-password

Personal Settings

You can choose the language and theme of the interface.

You can also enable or disable the collection of application usage statistics. It includes depersonalized information about the use of interface elements and unexpected errors. This helps us to make Prafka Desktop better.

Master-password

The master-password is requested every time you start Prafka Desktop.

It is necessary for secure storage of connection settings to Apache Kafka, Schema Registry and Kafka Connect.

These settings are encrypted and decrypted using a master-password.

If you forget the master-password, it will be impossible to restore the connection settings!
